WATCH LIVE: Celtics’ 2024 championship parade originally aired on NBC Sports Boston
The Boston Celtics have spent the week celebrating their victory over the Dallas Mavericks to reach the 2024 NBA Finals, and the party continues as they take to the streets on Friday for a victory parade.
The rolling rally is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. ET in front of TD Garden on Causeway Street, then move through City Hall Plaza on Tremont Street and Boston Common before finishing on Boylston Street near the Hynes Convention Center.
Mayor Michelle Wu said she expects “well over a million” people to take part in the parade, which will last about 90 minutes. If you can’t attend the festivities but still want to watch, we’re here to help.

What time is the Celtics parade?
The Celtics victory parade will begin at 11 a.m. at TD Garden, but the celebrations will begin before then.
Beginning at 9:30 a.m., NBC Sports Boston and NBC10 Boston will have exclusive simulcast coverage of a banner day in Boston. COVERAGE. Viewers will enjoy ongoing live coverage of the parade preparations, fans and special coverage of pre-parade events at TD Garden, hosted by former Celtic and NBC Sports Boston commentator Brian Scalabrine, who will feature Celtics players and members of the organization sharing their thoughts as they prepare to board the Duck Boats.
Once the parade begins at 11 a.m., NBC Sports Boston and NBC10 Boston will continue their inside coverage, providing live observations and commentary from a variety of perspectives and angles along the parade route, as well as exclusive perspective coverage from a duck boat participating in the parade, carrying NBC Sports Boston’s on-air talent.

Celtics Parade Route and Schedule
The rolling rally is scheduled to start in front of TD Garden on Causeway Street and travel down Staniford Street, Cambridge Street, Tremont Street and Boylston Street before finishing near the Hynes Convention Center.
The entire parade is expected to last approximately 90 minutes.
