The Galaxy S24 Ultra has been out for a while, but Samsung is expecting incredible demand for its new flagship phone. Samsung has since released several software updates for the phone as well, even though the first update took much longer than expected to arrive.
The company plans to continue releasing updates for the time being, especially if there are issues that need fixing. One such problem is related to cameras that take dark photos in certain situations. Samsung said this issue will be fixed through a software update.
The dark photo issue will be fixed with a firmware update.
You’ll find that the Galaxy S24 Ultra has one of the best cameras on any smartphone on the market right now. Take clear and bright photos and record great videos. The camera setup provides exactly what you want from a modern smartphone camera.
It’s only by fiddling with a few precise settings that the camera can take photos that are a little too dark. This happens when you take a photo with the auto exposure in the camera app locked between 1.6-1.9x zoom and 4.6-9.9x zoom. This will result in a darker photo.
Samsung has confirmed that a fix for this issue is in development and a software update will be released to address this issue. We recommend updating your device when the latest firmware is available.
However, the vast majority of users won’t care about this issue, as not many people are zooming at a certain level while locking autoexposure.
