WRT reveals Le Mans livery
Team WRT has announced the livery of the two LMP2 entries that will compete in the 2021 Le Mans 24 Hours for the first time as a Belgian team.
The #31 Oreca used by Robin Frijns Ferdinand von Habsburg and Charles Miles is the team’s full-season WEC car, and WRT’s full-season ELMS entry, the #41 Oreca, joins the 62-car grid, of which 25 cars will participate in LMP2.Co-stars with Luis Deletraz, Yifei Ye, Robert Kubica

Sorensen takes first LMP2 test
Current FIA WEC World GT Drivers Champion Marco Sorensen made his first outing in an LMP2 machine at the High Class Racing test at Paul Ricard last week.
The Danish-flagged, Barcelona-based team will race a full season at Le Mans in car No. 20, and will welcome Sorensen, who was drafted along with Ricky Taylor and Dennis Andersen, to a full season in FIA WEC.
Meanwhile, #49 Oreca will be joined by WEC regular Anders Fjordbach in an eye-catching all-Danish trio, along with the ‘Dad & Lad’ pair of Jan and Kevin Magnussen.
#49 was tested with its Le Mans livery partially completed, so look for a meaty addition at Le Mans.
High Class will occupy two additional temporary garages during this year’s pit stop, and United Autosports currently has three vehicles in place.

ARC Bratislava colors
ARC Bratislava is one of two teams to have received approval from the Le Mans race organizers to switch from their originally nominated car (the other being Herbert Motorsport’s newly-built car from originally nominated Ferrari). (I switched to a Porsche 911 RSR-19).
The Slovak team will switch from the Ligier JS P217 to an ex-SPS Performance Oreca 07 for Le Mans and will continue to use this car for the remainder of the FIA WEC. Oreca will wear the same, now very familiar colors that Milo Konopka has adorned his cars with for over 20 years.
Jodie Fannin to make Le Mans debut
Late changes to the No. 66 JMW Ferrari will see ELMS regular Jody Fannin join Thomas Neubauer and Rodrigo Sales, with the Brit replacing the originally named Robbie Foley.
graph road run
On Wednesday, August 11th, Graf Oreca 07-Gibson’s #39 SO24-DIROB takes to the streets of downtown Le Mans ahead of the start of the 89th 24 Hours of Le Mans on August 21st. .
This year, the inspection and test day will be held behind closed doors at the circuit, so the public road trip will be the first opportunity for local fans to see the 2021 competitors and the No. 39 car, which is supported by a consortium of local companies.
The car will also be on display at a temporary exhibition at Place de la République, where vehicle inspections are normally held for the race, and all second cars in patriotic livery will also be on display.
Graf’s SO24-DIROB is preparing to participate in the 12th Le Mans 24 Hours. Sharing the #39 ORECA will be local trio Vincent Capilaire, Arnold Robin and Maxime Robin, all three drivers born at the clinic in Tertre Rouge, just a stone’s throw from the circuit.
