India vs Canada live score, T20 World Cup 2024 today match: Team India’s final group stage match against Canada was called off on Saturday. The India vs Canada match could not take place due to a wet field at Lauderhill. Both teams took home one point each. Even without the points, India had already qualified. India topped the Group A standings with seven points, followed by the United States. Canada, Ireland and Pakistan were eliminated from the group.
It is also worth noting that already-eliminated Pakistan are also scheduled to play their final group stage match at the same venue later on Sunday.

The India-Canada match was the third time a match had been called off at the venue. Sri Lanka-Nepal was also called off and Pakistan was eliminated when the USA-Ireland match did not take place on Saturday. The Green Men needed Ireland to beat the USA but the cancellation ended their chances of progressing to the next round despite having one extra game in hand.
As things stand, Australia, West Indies, Afghanistan and South Africa will join India and the United States in qualifying for the Super Eight, while two more spots – one each in Group B and Group D – will be up for grabs.
