The opening scene is typical of many anime works and is nothing to criticize. This isn’t your typical DC Suicide Squad
Suicide Squad There have been many interpretations made through the media, not all of them good. Robbie’s portrayal of Harley Quinn is beloved today, but David Ayer’s Suicide Squad It hasn’t necessarily stood the test of time: other live-action adaptations have taken advantage of Robbie’s talent for the role and improved on her character.
While the Joker’s appearance in an anime is a surprise, it does set the series apart from others of its kind: DC appears to have given up on bringing the Joker back into the Gunverse, meaning the streaming anime series can do whatever it wants with the upcoming series. Suicide Squad: Another World To set itself apart, it needs to surprise viewers in this familiar territory instead of sticking to what they’ve seen before, and judging by the press release, that’s exactly what it will do. The anime will stick to the more unique aspects of the genre, throwing a well-known team into an unfamiliar world. Fans can tune in to find out how this anime plays out.
