Cara Delevingne’s mansion burned down earlier this week and her beloved pet cats were presumed dead, but she shared some heartwarming snapshots after they were rescued.
Cara Delevingne has shared several new photos of her cat after he was presumed dead in a horror fire at the model’s £5.5 million ($7 million) mansion in California.
The actress was working in London when her home burned down in the early hours of Friday morning. She delighted fans when she revealed that Carla initially believed her beloved pet had died in the fire, but she was rescued by firefighters.
She is currently sharing updates with her fans by posting new photos of her kitten on her Instagram Stories. In her first photo, one of her white cats was seen lying on a man’s chest while firefighters worked in the background.

A second photo showed another cat wrapped in a white towel being held by a firefighter. The post prompted Carla, who initially believed her pet had died, telling fans on Instagram: “My heart is breaking today. I can’t believe it. Life can change in the blink of an eye so I want you to cherish what you have. ” was posted after saying.
After the rescue, she said, “Thank you so much to the firefighters and everyone who came to the rescue. They’re alive!! Thank you to the firefighters.”
A fire broke out at Kara’s home early Friday morning, causing the roof to collapse and the walls of the mansion to be scorched. Approximately 100 firefighters were working to extinguish the fire, and one person was on the premises and was treated for injuries.
According to TMZ, firefighters arrived just after 4 a.m. PT. It took approximately two hours for response forces to bring the large fire under control.
According to Page Six, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that “there is no indication of arson or a criminal investigation at this time,” adding that there was “nothing to suggest criminal activity” at the actress’ home.
Carla was fortunate to be away from home during the fire, as she was in London after landing her first West End role as a model. She has been performing at the Playhouse Theater in London since March 11th.
