He was so kind, he invited me to his home, he took me to Wembley Stadium to see Simon and Garfunkel, even though I had never met him before, he gave me food, tickets, etc. He was the most generous and kind person I have ever met.

He was fantastic. He was such a nice guy and made me feel so welcome. I joined on the third movie and he introduced me to the world that I was a part of this epic film. It was such an amazing night. He was so sweet the whole time. He was the nicest guy I could have been. It’s such a huge loss.

So when I first went on set, I didn’t get to see him because he had a separate room when he was playing Superman, and he had to wear all the different makeup and wigs and stuff. I’d seen him on screen as Superman, but [seen him in person].
So I was walking to the set, and the stage was really dark, and I heard a voice say, “Hello, Annette.” I looked to my right, and it was like I was looking up at a mountain. I’m not kidding, I started stuttering, and I got chills.

There was Superman. He was in full gear, and when I talk about it now, it gives me chills just thinking about it. It was amazing… It was the first time I felt like I really didn’t know who it was. He wasn’t Chris Reeve. He spoke differently, and had a whole different kind of energy.
