Dionne talks about the disappointing starts of both the Chicago Cubs and White Sox. ESPN baseball reporter Jesse Rogers was at Wrigley Field for a live report from the Overtime streaming show. With the trade deadline looming, he gives his opinion on whether either team will make any major changes.
Dionne talks about the Chicago Bulls’ trade for fan favorite Alex Caruso, interviews two women’s basketball legends, Lisa Leslie and Nancy Lieberman, and talks about the WNBA’s growing popularity thanks to Caitlin Clark and Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese. The legends also talk about the league they coach in, the Big Three.
The Chicago Bears are looking to be special in all aspects of the game next season, including special teams, and are considering who will be doing kick returns next season. Speaking of kick returns, former Bears QB Justin Fields was doing a virtual kick return in a trailer for the upcoming Madden video football game.
While there will be a ton of baseball games next week, Dionne will also have his eye on the NBA and NHL drafts next weekend.
