In the second act, Seo Dong-ju will reveal his daily life over the past 10 years.
Lawyer and announcer Seo Dong-ju will make his first appearance in the fourth episode of TV CHOSUN’s new observational entertainment pilot program “Now Alone,” which will air on the 30th (Tuesday) at 10 p.m.
“Seo Dong-ju in the second act of my life, the 10th year,” he boldly introduced himself. “That’s what happens when you get divorced and get old. It’s like a past life. My memories are very vague.”
He shares his experience of marriage and divorce in America when he was young.
“I thought I was your wife and son.” After getting married, Seo Dong-ju confessed that she felt a sense of separation, saying, “I have strong opinions and a lot of things I want to do.”
Seo Dong-ju, who experienced marriage and divorce at a relatively young age, has been in Korea for three years and in “Now Alone” she reveals everything that surrounds her, from her new home, which she has already paid off the monthly rent for, to her current relationship.

In addition to Seo Dong-ju, viewers will also be drawn to his mother Seo Jeong-hee, who has lived alone for nine years, and his maternal grandmother Jang Bok-suk, who abandoned her husband in her 20s. Seo Jeong-hee, who was against Seo Dong-ju’s divorce, eventually changes her mind, and the daughter’s honest feelings towards her loving mother are also expected to draw attention.
In response to Seo Dong-ju’s statement that “my outlook on men has changed,” Seo Jeong-hee dropped a bombshell, “I’m sorry your mother is ugly.”
Meanwhile, “Now I’m Alone” is a realistic observational variety show that captures the lives of people who are once again alone, not by showing the reasons or process behind becoming alone, but by showing the journey of adapting to the world and preparing for another leap forward. With the support of MC Park Mi Sun, Seo Dong Joo, Jung No Min, Jo Yoon Hee, Choi Dong Seok, and Lee Yun Jin spoke frankly about their current feelings and showed their daily lives doing their best in their respective positions, drawing a positive response from viewers.
