During her time as a trainee, Han Sohee was seen as a promising young woman. She was accepted by multiple labels, including JYP Entertainment, YG Entertainment, Pledis, Source Music, and Jellyfish Entertainment. However, every time Sohee was scheduled to debut, the plans fell through. After six years of traineeship, and failing to debut with GFRIEND and gugudan, she began to feel discouraged.

Han So Hee’s name first came into the spotlight in 2017. Former BIGBANG member T.O.P. was accused of smoking marijuana, which he initially denied but later admitted to. During the investigation, a woman came forward to claim that she had smoked marijuana with the legendary singer at his house. This woman was none other than Han So Hee, T.O.P.’s girlfriend at the time and a trainee at YG Entertainment. Han So Hee’s revelations led the former BIGBANG member to attempt suicide. T.O.P. was hospitalized in critical condition and recovered, but vowed never to work in Korea again.
iKON’s BI and YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun-suk
Confessions made during the TOP scandal led to an investigation into iKON’s leader BI in 2019. Han So Hee admitted to giving drugs to the iKON members after their private chats were leaked online. The former trainee also claimed that YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun Suk forced her to change her statement in 2016 to avoid implicating the rapper. BI left iKON following the scandal and embarked on a solo career.
Meanwhile, Yang Hyun-suk, who left his position at YG Entertainment amid the BI scandal, was under investigation for allegedly blackmailing Han Seo-hee in 2016. He was initially acquitted in November 2023, but the verdict was later overturned and the former CEO was sentenced to six months in prison.

While Han So Hee was embroiled in the BI and Yang Hyun Suk scandal, she came out in support of her then-partner Jung Da Eun after she accused MONSTA X’s Wonho of theft and drug use. Da Eun also claimed that Wonho owed her 30 million won and had avoided her every time she tried to contact him. Wonho was cleared of all charges while Han So Hee continued to make her claims. However, Wonho eventually left MONSTA X.
Around the same time, Sohee revealed that Da-eun had received an email accusing MONSTA X’s leader, Shownu, of pursuing a married woman. The group’s agency, Starship Entertainment, explained the allegations, saying that Shownu had been in contact with the woman before his marriage, but only found out she was married much later.
Yoo Ah In Kang Hyuk Min
All the way back in 2017, Han So Hee got into a huge argument with actor Yoo Ah In, who made some pretty misogynistic remarks. When Ulzzang Kang Hyuk Min defended Ah In and called So Hee “someone with a painful heart,” the former trainee called him a potential rapist. Kang Hyuk Min was bombarded with Han So Hee’s “rapist” claims, which were quickly denied by the police.
Ahn Hyo-seop

However, after screenshots went viral, Sohee claimed the chats were fabricated. Despite her explanation, Ahn Hyo Seop sued Han Sohee for defamation and libel.
