The Premier League will return for the 2024/25 season, with Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United facing Fulham in the opening match on Friday 16 August.
Champions Manchester City will begin their title defence when they face Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea in the weekend’s main match, the manager’s first game in charge since leaving newly promoted Leicester to replace Mauricio Pochettino. Manchester City will host the first Monday Night Football of the season when they welcome Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham on 18 August.
Fellow newcomers Ipswich Town host Liverpool at lunchtime on Saturday in Arne Sloot’s first game in charge following Jurgen Klopp’s emotional departure.
After trailing Pep Guardiola’s side in the title race, Arsenal will be looking to go even further this season when they host Wolves on Saturday, August 17.
Julen Lopetegui’s first game since replacing David Moyes will see West Ham host Aston Villa at the London Stadium, while the other new manager, 31-year-old Fabian Haseler, will become the Premier League’s youngest permanent manager when he takes on Everton with Brighton.
In the final round of fixtures on 18 May, Arsenal will host Newcastle, Manchester United will play Chelsea, Manchester City will host Bournemouth and Liverpool will play away at Brighton.
Manchester United are due to host traditional rivals Liverpool on August 31, just two weeks into the new season, with the reverse fixture taking place on January 4. The third round of the FA Cup takes place the following weekend, and there will be no winter break this season.
The first Manchester derby of the season is due to be played at the Etihad Stadium on December 14 but will be moved to Sunday December 15 once Manchester United’s Europa League fixtures are confirmed. City are due to travel to Old Trafford on April 5.
Arsenal face a tough early fixture, visiting rivals Tottenham on 14 September straight after the first international break of the season, before Mikel Arteta’s side travel north to face City a week later.
These matches will be played before or after the first round of the Champions League group stage.
The second North London derby at the Emirates Stadium is scheduled for January 14, with Arsenal due to host City on February 1.
The final Merseyside derby at Goodison Park before Everton move to their new home at Bramley Moore Dock will be played on December 7, with the reverse fixture at Anfield being a midweek fixture on April 2.
Villa are scheduled to host local rivals Wolves on September 21, the weekend after their Champions League opener.
Tottenham are due to play in the Europa League on either 25th or 26th September before traveling to Old Trafford to face United that weekend.
